The
General Learning Implementation Process
In general, the
process of implementing learning in each subject is active learning,
student-centered learning. In each learning process, students are stimulated to
have the courage to take initiatives, learn to express opinions and arguments,
and try to practice critical and creative thinking skills.
Lectures at each
meeting are carefully prepared, because before the lecture period begins, the
study program holds a semester lecture plan preparation workshop. One of the
contents of the workshop activities is a discussion in a scientific field
cluster about the distribution of material at each meeting and a discussion of
alternative learning approaches that can be chosen.
There are several
courses that are implemented independently outside the campus. These courses are aimed to
introduce early learning practices in schools, school management, and
implementation of the curriculum in schools. Some of these subjects include teaching Internship,
Contextual Mathematics, School Mathematics.
There is one class (Superior Class) in UPME Program, where the learning process uses English as the main language of instruction. Students in these classes are also given the opportunity to practice teaching internship in international schools, at home and abroad. The following is an example of an undergraduate Mathematics Education study program student who practices in international schools.
