E-Magmath: an Interactive Magazine for learning mathematics

The implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was not optimal. This is supported by the results of a survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture that many teachers do not do interactive learning and a report from one newspaper in Indonesia that most teachers only give assignments to students, which results in students being bored and lazy to learn during online learning.
Intan Fatimah Ahmada, Mayang Purbaningrum, and Siti Munawaroh who are students of the University of Surabaya mathematics education study program, strive to present alternatives by innovating to develop learning media that are attractive to students, interactive, and easy to develop by making electronic magazines on set material. The efforts that Intan et al did have succeeded in winning second place in the research field of the National Scientific Writing Competition (LKTIN) of Semarang State University. The title that Intan et al proposed was "E-Magmath, an Interactive Magazine based on a FlipBook on the Subject of the Association in Grade 7 SMP / MTs (Lower Secondary School)".
The preparation of this scientific paper was guided by Mrs. Evangelista Lus Windiyana Palupi, S.Pd., M.Sc. This magazine is equipped with videos, songs, word arranging games and crossword puzzles (TTS), which are expected to motivate students during learning. The applications used to create this electronic magazine are Corel Draw, Flip PDF Corporate, and Web to Apk . Flip PDF Corporate is used to change the magazine so that it can be used on student cellphones . This aims to facilitate access for students who are closer to cellphones than a computer (PC). In the process of compiling this paper, good teamwork was shown by Intan et al through the division of labor. Intan worked on the poster, because Intan admitted that he liked the design, so he felt that making posters was a suitable task. The article was written by Siti Munawaroh, and the management of Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) was assigned to Mayang.
